APO is the leading privately-owned prosthetic and orthotic provider in New Mexico. We offer a full range of prosthetic and orthotic services, including custom-made prosthetic and orthotic devices, prosthetic and orthotic fittings, and rehabilitation and follow-up services.

Our On-Site Facilities
Each of our facilities has an on-site lab; our Broadbent (Valley) office has a fully equipped fabrication facility. We perform fabrication and repairs in these state-of-the-art labs, and we have an extensive orthotic and prosthetic library.

Michael W. Rasch, M.S. CPO
Prosthetist and Orthotist
Michael W Rasch is an ABC-certified orthotist/prosthetist with over 30 years of experience in patient care. His drive to provide the best quality care to his patients lead him to private practice in 2005, the year he purchased APO in Santa Fe, NM. Since then, APO has expanded to several offices, including a central fabrication facility, and about 20 employees.
Michael W Rasch is an ABC-certified orthotist/prosthetist with over 30 years of experience in patient care. His drive to provide the best quality care to his patients lead him to private practice in 2005, the year he purchased APO in Santa Fe, NM. Carmen Mazon
Administrative Manager
Since 2006, Carmen Mazon has been a partner and administrative manager for APO, joining Michael W. Rasch, in the early years of the business. She came to Santa Fe, NM, with over 25 years of experience in prosthetics and orthotics from Northern California. Carmen is committed to helping improve the quality of life for our patients with personalized care and excellent customer service. She has made APO successful with her dedication, leadership skills, and compassion.

Ross is a clinician with more than 40 years of experience in the field. He specializes in Prosthetics and he is a skilled clinician in all aspects of Prosthetics. He feels tremendously honored to be part of a patient's rehabilitation by helping them gain their full potential to carry out their daily activities of life. He understands the individual patient's needs and the trauma involved in the loss of a limb. He gives his full dedication and prosthetic talents to achieve the patient's needed goals.

Orthotist
Michael Boczkiewicz has served Wisconsin and New Mexico as a certified orthotist for over 30 years. He moved to New Mexico from Milwaukee, WI, in 2000 and hasn’t looked back. His medical areas of interest are pediatrics and lower extremity bracing. Michael enjoys spending time with his family, being active in church, engaging in outdoor activities, and riding motorcycles.

Jon Wintheiser, COA, C.Ped, CFo
Pedorthist and Orthotic Fitter
Jon Wintheiser is an ABC-certified pedorthist and orthotic fitter. Over the course of his 15-year career in podiatry and 21-year career in orthopedics, he has gained experience with pediatric care, as well as helping adult patients with a variety of orthopedic issues. He also has extensive experience treating diabetic foot complications.

Since graduating from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science degree, he has been a long-time resident of New Mexico. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys playing a wide range of sports, hiking with his Labrador, and supporting his kids in their athletic pursuits.
